Thammy Miranda se revolta e abandona entrevista após Ratinho fazer ‘piada’ inaceitável

Recentemente, Thammy Miranda, filho da icônica Gretchen e vereador pelo Partido Liberal (PL) em São Paulo, se viu no centro de uma controvérsia envolvendo o apresentador Ratinho, do SBT.

Durante a preparação para participar do Programa do Ratinho, Thammy enfrentou uma situação desconfortável que o levou a abandonar o estúdio antes mesmo de subir ao palco.

O incidente ocorreu quando Ratinho fez uma piada considerada discriminatória em relação a pessoas transgênero. Referindo-se a Thammy, Ratinho questionou de maneira inapropriada: “Eu não sei se ele ou ela. É ele, né? É ele! É o Thammy! Agora ela tem barba, né?”.

Essa abordagem desrespeitosa para com a identidade de gênero de Thammy, que é um homem trans e passou por sua transição há cerca de 10 anos, causou um mal-estar evidente.

Thammy Miranda, cuja jornada e identidade são amplamente reconhecidas tanto no meio artístico quanto político, optou por não comparecer ao programa após o comentário de Ratinho. O apresentador, por sua vez, não demonstrou preocupação com a ausência de Thammy e prosseguiu com o programa.

Este não é o primeiro desentendimento entre Ratinho e Thammy. Em 2018, Ratinho já havia expressado comentários discriminatórios, declarando-se “careta” e mostrando relutância em reconhecer Thammy como homem. Este recente episódio reacende a discussão sobre o respeito à identidade de gênero e a necessidade de sensibilidade e educação em relação à diversidade.

A situação gerou desconforto nas instalações do SBT e trouxe à tona a importância do respeito e da compreensão em relação às questões de gênero, especialmente em plataformas de grande visibilidade como a televisão.
