A cidade de Indaial, no Vale do Itajaí, está em luto após um caso chocante que reacendeu o debate sobre a violência doméstica contra crianças. Isabelle de Freitas, uma menina de apenas três anos, desapareceu misteriosamente de sua casa, dando início a uma busca desesperada que terminou em tragédia.

Inicialmente tratado como um caso de desaparecimento pela mãe da criança, a investigação da Polícia Civil revelou um cenário horrível. Isabelle foi vítima de agressões fatais perpetradas pela própria mãe e pelo padrasto.

O padrasto, que alegou estar trabalhando no momento do desaparecimento, também se viu envolvido nas acusações.

A busca terminou com a descoberta do corpo de Isabelle, e as evidências apontaram para uma realidade dolorosa: a menina morreu devido às agressões sofridas. Este triste acontecimento lança luz sobre a vulnerabilidade das crianças dentro de seus próprios lares e questiona a eficácia dos mecanismos de proteção social destinados a salvaguardar os mais jovens.
